The palate is broad, textural and intense with well-integrated, toasty oak characters, kiwi and grapefruit acidity and impeccable balance. A deliciously bitter twist on the finish maintains the complexity of this fine Spanish white.

1 hectare of 30 year old vines around the commune of Mercurey. Matures for 10 months in a combination of barrels (25% new) and stainless steel cuve.

From the exceptional Cellars of Bernard Vallet, a wonderful Bourgogne Blanc with golden, yeasty, honeyed fruit and fresh citrus acidity.

Elegant and expressive on the nose with fruity notes of lime, pear, green pepper, interspersed with the feeling of intense freshness from Lake Ranco and the Andes. On the palate, rich and elegant with a lingering acidity, mineral notes and a pleasing fruitiness that completely coats the mouth.

400m, 30-35 year old vines, north-east exposure with some clay and a bedrock of limestone. Elevage in 300 litre barrels, 15% new. The coolest and last vineyard to be picked.

This is an excellent wine showing great winemaking skill. 86% Bacchus, 14% Chardonnay, matured in American Oak for seven months. An elderflower and vanilla nose with a broad yet fresh palate of citrus and wood.

Domaine Fayolle is a domaine with a growing reputation. Les Pontaix is 100% Marsaanne, with 20% into barrique. A clean, fresh, citrus nose is balanced with a rich palate of nutty and honeyed fruit. Was - £28.00
