Produced by the same team and from the same vineyards as Château Palmer, Alter Ego is literally the 'other side' of Palmer, another expression of Palmer. Alter Ego has the distinction and character of Palmer but is made to be drunk much earlier. Merlot is generally the dominant grape variety, making it supple and ready to open within 3 years of the harvest. A great wine with intense fruit, fresh and juicy.

Rich, savoury and meaty - lovely! Intense morello cherry fruit and a touch of spice on the nose, ripe berry, liquorice and a hint of cinnamon spice on the palate, this wine is full flavoured, rich and smooth with supple tannins.

This champagne shows fine mousse in the glass and fresh floral aromas mixed with characteristic sweet, doughy overtones, which are balanced by richer fruit, peach skin characters and classic baked biscuit flavours with a crisp citrus finish.

A complete array of aromas ranging from notes of cassis, blackberry and spices to violet with a very elegant hint of oak. Still young tannins, balanced flavours and fine texture. A wine still in the early days of great ageing potential.

A classic Bordeaux nose of deep, concentrated Blackcurrent fruit and leathery spice. The palate is generous and complex giving delicious, dark, bramble fruit, tobacco and cloves with gentle hints of vanilla oak and soft, ripe tannins.

This rosé is brilliantly clear and salmon pink in colour. On the nose, delicate aromas of white flowers, redcurrant, and wild strawberry develop into juicy white peach and pear notes. On the palate, a fresh acidity is balanced beautifully by the alcohol and nuances of papaya, giving an elegant mouthfeel and refreshing length.

The nose is expressive on notes of fruit and lots of spice; it reveals ripeness and is very fresh. On the palate, this wine is charming, with surprising fullness, smoothness and also a lot of depth.

A very classy St Emilion Grand Cru. Juicy red and black fruits with some drier cedary streaks on the palate. A classy, complex wine with fantastic structure and long-lingering finish. Merlot 75% , Cabernet Franc 25%

Intense garnet purple colour. Classic Barbera aromatics of salami skin with a hint of cloves and mint lead to a sumptious and crunchy palate of bitter cherries, leather and herbs. Silky tannins and reassuring acidity complete the picture.
