England image Often perceived as too cold to grow vines, wine has been produced in England since Roman times, production has increased significantly recently and there are now over 1200 vineyards.
England predominantly makes high quality traditional Champagne method sparkling wines with the same grapes - Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and Pinot Meunier, in areas with a similar climate and soil.

Gentle cracked black pepper spice to follow, then top notes of fresh fennel and fragrant orange blossom.Very full bodied with a lovely creamy texture. Extremely long finish, but with a dryness to it. Lingering herbal complexity, citrus freshness and gentle sweet spice.
