Palmers have an incredible range of vintage ports spanning six decades. All these wines are shipped on release and stored at Palmers brewery in our bespoke fine wine stores. The conditions are perfectly maintained for maturation of these rare wines.

Retaining a deep and youthful colour, the nose has intense black fruit characters, with notes of sweet spices, liquorice and vanilla. The palate has structure and concentration, with rich, ripe plum and cherry flavours, more spice and firm tannins. It is drinking well now, but still has many years ahead. -

Rich, penetrating aromas of currant, fig and violet melt into the full bodied palate, which still has a firm structure despite its age. Rich and beautifully balanced, this port is a delight to drink now but still also has a long life ahead of it. -

Robert Parker describes this Graham's port as "the undisputed star and kingpin of the 1985 vintage ports" he goes on to say that it is "a fabulous wine because of a dazzling level of black-cherry fruit, an enormous structure, and staggering depth, dimension, and length." This is indeed an exceptional vintage and it is drinking incredibly well now. -
