Veneto, Italy

Veneto, a sprawling region in northeastern Italy, is a powerhouse of wine production. From the rolling hills of Valpolicella to the plains of Prosecco, its diverse terroirs yield a wide array of styles. Valpolicella, with its Corvina-based reds, ranges from light and fruity to the powerful Amarone. Soave, made from Garganega grapes, offers crisp, dry whites.     This Prosecco is a light straw yellow with fine bubbles. A pleasant bouquet with notes of pear and white flowers that follow onto a palate which is bright and clean with a refreshing finish.

Citrus and gently floral aromas lead to a very fresh and zippy palate with crisp green apple and lightly honeyed characters. A refreshing and approachable style of fizz - yet with texture and depth underlying the bright fruit.

    Soave Classico Staforte is made from 100% Garganega grapes, selected from the best sites of Pra's Monteforte Estate, situated in the heart of the Soave Classico zone. Pra Staforte Soave is a fine and poised wine with notes of ripe apples, has a great texture hints of stone fruit and a savoury character. The grapes are vinified and matured in stainless steel with 6-8 months lees ageing and regular battonage.

    A ripe, open and spicy nose with aromas of wild cherry, plums and dried herbs. Firm, ripe tannins with flavours of bitter cherry, spice and tarry, liquorice notes. The finish is complex and long, further opening to reveal dried orange peel, and ripe red fruit characters backed by a hint of mocha.

    Ruby red in colour, this Ripasso opens with a concentrated nose full of aromas of red fruits and dried cherries. Full-bodied on the palate, it shows lovely balance between an opulent cherry-pie character and supple structure. The finish is long with a mouthwatering bitter-cherry twist.

Cool summer breezes blowing down the Alpone Valley from the foothills of the Dolomites to the north give warm days and cool nights, which helps with the accumulation of aromatic characters in the grapes.

    This wine is brilliant straw yellow in colour, with greenish hints. On the nose it has aromas of white flowers, almond blossoms, marzipan and a touch of citrus. The palate is rounded and has flavours of ripe fruit perfectly balanced by a fresh, clean acidity. Long and fragrant, it has a note of fine, almond pastry on the finish.

    This wine is ruby red in colour, with youthful highlights. On the nose, fragrant fruit with prominent notes of dark cherries and fresher hints of pepper and aromatic herbs, typical of Corvina and Corvinone, the historic varieties of this appellation. This Valpolicella is impressively lively and playful on the palate, whilst exhibiting delicacy and finesse at the same time.
