Wine Description:
A wonderful combination of notes of wild ref ruits, blackberry and blackcurrant, and the fragrance of the surrounding garrigue. The palate has just the right amount of richness and a creamy texture enveloping balanced tannins. Serve with barbecue or, slightly chilled, as an aperitif.
The vineyard is situated in Languedoc’s top terroir, a region situated between the final slopes of the eastern Pyrenees and the Mediterranean sea. After destemming and crushing, the grapes are fermented at a controlled temperature. Delicate daily pumping over as well as short vatting allow for good extraction of fruity characters on a rounded structure. After the malolactic fermentation, the wines are blended and vat-aged for several months before being fined and filtered, then bottled.
35% Merlot - 35% Syrah –30% Grenache
Producer Description
Languedocien and oceanic, these are the terms that define the excellence and uniqueness of this terroir. We find ourselves here, as if by magic, at the confluence of two climates: the Mediterranean influences bring generosity and the sun conducive to beautiful maturities. The westerly flows, meanwhile, maintain the humidity and freshness necessary for the expression of the fruit.
Crafted with the utmost skill and the result of stringent selection, their cuvée express all the characters of the grape varieties and the singularity of this Pays d’Oc terroir. Designed to meet the requirements of modern consumption habits, this expressive, likeable quaff goes down especially well outside mealtimes.
