Robert Parker describes this Graham's port as "the undisputed star and kingpin of the 1985 vintage ports" he goes on to say that it is "a fabulous wine because of a dazzling level of black-cherry fruit, an enormous structure, and staggering depth, dimension, and length." This is indeed an exceptional vintage and it is drinking incredibly well now.

Rich, penetrating aromas of currant, fig and violet melt into the full bodied palate, which still has a firm structure despite its age. Rich and beautifully balanced, this port is a delight to drink now but still also has a long life ahead of it.

Typically for Warre, this is a big, powerful wine, packed with lots of deep concentrated fruit, wrapped in a rich, rounded tannic structure. Ready to drink now but will keep.
