Chateau Fonplegade is a Grand Cru Classe Chateau from Saint-Emilion. 95% Merlot with 5% Cabernet Franc and aged for 18 to 24 months in 85% new Franch oak.

Garnet-purple color. Lovely complex nose revealing roses, chocolate, blueberries and blackberries perfumes along with scrubland and smoke notes. In the mouth, this wine is fresh with a mineral profile.

From the Sichel estate, Chateau Argenteyre is a 27ha property. The blend is 55% Cabernet Sauvignon, 30% Merlot and 15% Petit Verdot with 12 month in oak. Drinking well now but will continue to develop for several years to come. A serious and classic Medoc wine.

Cassis and blackberry aromas with a certain softness. The palate is rounded and creamy, with velvety tannins, ripe fruit and a refreshing touch of acidity that creates a balanced whole, as well as delicate spices which evolve on the palate. The finish is long and light as air.

From a Premier Cru Classe Sauternes property, Chateau Guiraud are developing a reputation for their exceptional organic dry wines. A blend of 50% Sauvignon and 50% Semillon with 80% barrel fermentation and 7 month oak and lees aging.

100% Merlot from 25 year old vines, displaying the excellent cassis flavours typical of a well structured Merlot highlighted by menthol notes on the nose.

A classic Bordeaux nose of deep, concentrated Blackcurrent fruit and leathery spice. The palate is generous and complex giving delicious, dark, bramble fruit, tobacco and cloves with gentle hints of vanilla oak and soft, ripe tannins.

The nose is expressive on notes of fruit and lots of spice; it reveals ripeness and is very fresh. On the palate, this wine is charming, with surprising fullness, smoothness and also a lot of depth.

Produced by the same team and from the same vineyards as Château Palmer, Alter Ego is literally the 'other side' of Palmer, made to be drunk much earlier, ready to open within 3 years of the harvest. A great wine with intense fruit, fresh and juicy.
