Region
Loire, France
Producer:
Langlois-Chateau
Grapes:
Chardonnay, Cabernet Franc, Chenin Blanc
Wine Description:

The thoroughbred name of Saumer and a high class wine. A blend of Chenin Blanc, Chardonnay and Cabernet Franc with two years bottle age. A deep, creamy, white fruit nose with a citrus yeasty palate.

Tasting Note:

Light yellow colour with fine, delicate bubbles. A complex nose mixing different fruits such as quince, peach and grapefruit lead to a fresh finish with a delicate and refined mouth-feel.

Media Note:

Lovely freshness offset by rich orchard fruit and gentle nuttiness. A blend based on Chenin Blanc (10% of which from reserve wines) and the variety's trademark woolly creaminess gives weight to lifted linden, grapefruit and peach aromas. Food friendly. : Decanter
