Chateau L'Ermitage Sainte Cecile Rouge
- Costiere du Nimes, Rhone, France
- Chateau L'Ermitage
- Grenache, Syrah, Mourvedre
This is a warm, earthy, southern French wine, with a less-is-more approach to oak. This vintage is soft and developed, drinking wonderfully now but can be enjoyed over the next few years.
Château l'Ermitage was founded in the XIth Century by the hermits of Sainte Cécile d'Estagel Abbay. It is situated on the pilgrimage route of Santiago de Compostella. The estate's total surface covers 80 hectares of sunny south facing vineyards, which benefit from the airy Mediterranean climate.
