Cantine San Marzano

Cantine San Marzano is a cooperative based in Apulia in the heart of the Manduria appelartion. Started in 1962 by 19 growers, San Marzano now consists of over 1200 grower members producing a range of wines that reflect the style and quality that Puglia is known for.

Growing a range of grape varieties from internationals like Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc, to Italian indigenous grapes such as Malvasia and Fiano. However, San Marzano really shine with the local Puglian varieties Malvasia Nero and Negroamoro with their speciality being Primitivo, producing a range of premium quality wines that really showcase these varieties at the top of their game.

    Very intense and elegant ruby red colour; broad and complex fruity fragrance with hints of plum, cherry jam and tobacco, slightly spicy; a full-bodied wine, smooth and rich in tannins, with an finish that offers notes of cocoa, coffee and vanilla.
