Wine Description:

Nero d'Avola is a speciality of Sicily and Ca'Di Ponti's grapes are sourced from it's heartland in Riesi, with no oak aging to highlight it's pure Nero fruit.

Tasting Note:

A fresh and juicy red from the hillside vineyards of sun-drenched Sicily. Ripe black cherry and plum fruit with a hint of spice and smokiness. The soft tannins, gentle acidity and ripe fruit make it a perfectly balanced wine to match a host of foods. Serve at room temperature. 

Serving Suggestion:

Dark and dense plum and blackberry fruit, spice, liquorice and touches of smoke and chocolate combine.
