    Krohn make exceptioanl Ports and have been producing Vintage Port since 1957 and the 2003 Krohn Vinatge Port was a Gold medal winner. The 2003 has been one of the second highest scoring vintages since the legendary 1948 vintage and equal to the great 1963 vintage.

This is indeed an exceptional vintage and it is drinking incredibly well now.

    Typically for Warre, this is a big, powerful wine, packed with lots of deep concentrated fruit, wrapped in a rich, rounded tannic structure. Ready to drink now but will keep.

    Colheitas are single vintage Tawny Ports aged in cask for many years and the Krohn Colheita 1982 has has 35 years cask aging. Because of this long, slow, oxidative aging, the Port develops a rich and intense toffee, nutty, molasses character.
