Chateau Gayon Blanc
A blend of Sauvignon Blanc and Semillon, fermented and aged for 5 months in oak barrels, this wine offers an abundant bouquet and fresh, balanced palate.
Fresh, zesty citrus and grapefruit with herbacious aromas of grass, asparagus, apple blossom and melon. Great minerality on the palate with smoky, flinty flavours from the oak which softens the texture balancing perfectly with the ripe Semillon.
Overlooking the right bank of the Garonne, Chateau Gayon is a 30 hectare property near Langon. The estate has been owned by successive generations of the Crampes family since the 18th century, Chateau Gayon is now managed by Jean Crampes.
