A blend of 65% Merlot and 35% Cabernet Sauvignon showing a beautiful deep garnet hue and a medium, soft body. The nose is precise with almost sweet fruit and the palate is subtle but pleasing giving a little more with each taste.
Soft cherry, crimson, bramble and plum fruit with a fine texture.
Pairs well with white meat dishes and hard cheeses.
Chateau Rivensan is a small property based in Bordeaux of only six hectares. A family owned estate since 1945 Chateau Rivensan has been run by André Gigonzac and his daughter Isabelle. Chateau Rivensan has higher plantings of Merlot and produces soft, approachable Bordeaux.
