Givry, Teppe De Cheneves, Ragot
Teppe De Cheneve from Domaine Ragot is a relatively new wine for the Ragot family, made from a recently planted 3/4 of a hectare vineyard planted on clay and limestone with the wine aged in 40% new oak.
Dark, black cherry and blackcurrent of the nose with great purity of fruit. The oak is presesnt but not intrusive giving softness and toasty notes to the wine. Best drunk between 2018 and 2024.

Generations later the family continues today in the village of Givry where they own 9 hectares of vineyard, a third of which are Premier Cru sites.
