The Ragot have been making wine since 1760 when they started out in Mercury. Generations later the family continues today in the village of Givry where they own 9 hectares of vineyard, a third of which are Premier Cru sites. Owned and run by Jean-Paul Ragot with his son Nicholas Ragot working as the winemaker Domaine Ragot produce nine wines altogether including a Crement, two whites and three Premier Cru Pinot Noirs.

It is often perceived as powerful in its color as in its scent of black fruits and even sometimes of spicy notes. A well structured mouth with a good tannic structure and notes of blackcurrant, blackberry, fruit of the woods.Drink young or age for 5-10 years.
