Wine Description:

This wine was made with Torrontes and Pink Moscatel, the grapes are fermented using the red wine method - in contact with the seeds and skins creating the orange colour from white grapes. Pleasantly fresh, with floral notes of orange blossom and jasmine complimented by citrus and grapefruit aromas.

Media Note:

Orange wine, also known as amber wines, or skin contact wine, is wine made with white grapes using the red wine method.

Typically white wines are produced by pressing the grapes to extract the juice which is then fermented.
Red wines are made by crushing the grapes and then fermenting the juice and skins together. Orange wine is fuller bodied than white wine and has tannins typically associated with reds. Flavours often include dried fruit and herbal aromas.
