    Krohn make exceptioanl Ports and have been producing Vintage Port since 1957 and the 2003 Krohn Vinatge Port was a Gold medal winner. The 2003 has been one of the second highest scoring vintages since the legendary 1948 vintage and equal to the great 1963 vintage. A hot year across Europe producing rich, powerful Ports that will live on for many decades. Weise & Krohn are now owned by the Taylor Fladgate partnership.

    Quinta Do Retiro Novo is Krohn's estate and Krohn makes a single Quinta Port on the good years, reserving the very best years for their vintage Ports. This 2005 Quinta Do Retiro is rich and powerful but will be more approachable at an earlier age than the Vinatge Ports.

Our rarest and oldest vintage Port that has been stored in our own bond until it's reached it's optimum point for drinking and will drink well over the next five or so years.
  • Shipped by Palmers in barrel and bottles here at the brewery, Martinez 1955 had not seen the light of day for over 60 years until we decided to release some from our bond. Martinez 1955 is a classic, drinking perfectly and will drink over the next 5 years or so.Please note that the Martinez 1955 vintage port has no labels.

  • Colheitas are single vintage Tawny Ports aged in cask for many years and the Krohn Colheita 1982 has has 35 years cask aging. Because of this long, slow, oxidative aging, the Port develops a rich and intense toffee, nutty, Molasses character.
