Soave Classico Staforte is made from 100% Garganega grapes, selected from the best sites of Pra's Monteforte Estate, situated in the heart of the Soave Classico zone. Pra Staforte Soave is a fine and poised wine with notes of ripe apples, has a great texture hints of stone fruit and a savoury character. The Cantina di Monteforte co-op is situated in the eastern part of Soave Classico and Soave. Cool summer breezes blowing down the Alpone Valley from the foothills of the Dolomites to the north give warm days and cool nights, which helps with the accumulation of aromatic characters in the grapes.

This wine is brilliant straw yellow in colour, with greenish hints. On the nose it has aromas of white flowers, almond blossoms, marzipan and a touch of citrus. The palate is rounded and has flavours of ripe fruit perfectly balanced by a fresh, clean acidity. Long and fragrant, it has a note of fine, almond pastry on the finish. Was - £19
