    Hine has a much publised connection with Beamisnter and we stock three of their most recognisable blends. Thomas Hine married the daughter of a gentleman who owned a Cognac House in Jarnac. By 1817 the company was renamed Thomas Hine & Company. H is a blend of more than 15 Petite Champagne cognacs, with the youngest aged for 4 years. ItÆs their most floral cognac: with hints of jasmine and iris on the nose, and a delicate, velvety palate.

  • Pineau des Charentes is a fragrant, fruity fortified wine made with a blend of aged Cognac and the musts from Merlot and Cabernet grapes. After blending, it is aged in oak barrels for around four to five years. Enjoy as an aperitif, or as an after-dinner accompaniment to a cheese board.

    Distilled five times from a blend of 95% Ugni Blanc grown in Cognac and 5% Mauzac Blanc grown in the Southern French area of Tarn. The two grapes are picked when frozen and distilled separately four times before being cominbed in a traditional pot still for the final distilation. The use of frozen grapes and cold fermentation preserves the natural zestinest of the grapes in the final product. More prevalently used in mixing than as a shooting vodka, idael in wine and champagne based cocktails.
