Domaine Chanson has parcels of grapes across several Premier Cru vineyards in the Cote Chalonnaise, Cote de Beaune and the Cote d'Or which are used to make their Bourgogne. Citrus fruit with a silky texture and light, flinty, smoky character from well integrated oak.
  • Wine
From the exceptional Cellars of Bernard Vallet, a wonderful Bourgogne Blanc with golden, yeasty, honeyed fruit and fresh citrus acidity. Top quality.
  • Bourgogne Rouge from Vincent Dureuil, supple, organic, barrel aged Pinot Noir aged in 33% new oak for 18 months. Sweet, generous and accessible, with the fruit coming in part from Puligny and in part Premeaux. This is seriously good Burgundy for a veritable 'bargain', fine soft fruit, round supple texture and good fresh acidity, the nose has subtle hints of that lovely farmyard authenticity that makes Pinot and Burgundy so delicious. Bottled without fining or filtration.

Gambal's Pinot Noir is manually harvested and then 100% de-stemmed, not crushed, and cold macerated of 5-8 days. Alcoholic fermentation for 10-14 days, gentle pressing and then malo-lactic fermentation in barrel. The wine then rests on its fine lees for 10-16 months.
