Wine Description:

Jacky Janodet has long been a star of the Beaujolais with 7ha of the finest gravel and vines of over 50 years of age. These wines are rich and firm and mature beautifully with age.

Tasting Note:

Explosive nose of raspberries, red currants, plums; medium body with layers of fruit on the palate, plush texture, fruit lasts through the finish, acidity well balanced by the fruit.

Food Suggestion:

Quintessential bistro wine, enjoy with steak frites or roasted lamb shank.
