Bright gold colour with delicate floral fragrances, mixed white pear and apple aromas. Delicate vanilla note. Well structured with a good richness and volume and an elegant finish.

Producer Description

Domaine Chanson was founded in 1750 and is based in the heart of Beaune, with it's Medieval Bastion constructed over the 15th century offering perfect conditions for their maturation cellars and the vinification facility based at Savigny.

Domaine Chanson was taken over by the Bollinger in 1999 with vineyard holdings consisting of 45 hectares of soley Premier Cru and Grand Cru sites, they now produce quality wines from vineyards across the Cote De Nuits, Cote De Beaune, Cote Chalonnais, the Macconais, Chablis and Beaujolais.

With winemaker Jean-Pierre Confuron leading production the Domaine has seen considerable modernisation and improvement with the vineyards practises becoming organic in 2009 Chanson are now producing high quality wines from all the top villages in Burgundy including an extensive range of cuvee's from thier numerous premier cru vineyard holdings in Beaune, Nuits St George, Givry as well as a very highly regarding Bourgogne Chardonnay and Pinot Noir.
